Lawyers Newton Saint Juste and Andre Michel traveled to the United States to meet with human rights organizations to expose corruption and abuses of the Martelly/Lamothe administration in Haiti
There are meetings scheduled with members of the U.S. Congress, the State Department and the Haitian Diaspora on these issues and with lawyers in the United States, prosecutions are expected to be initiated, according to Radio Kiskeya.
The issue of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) is expected to be discussed in the meetings. Newton Saint Juste has been fighting for repairs for victims of cholera and abuse by UN peacekeepers.
Following threats of arrest and death, the two lawyers, a petition signed by many citizens was sent to the Organization of American States (OAS).
